UnFiber® 6G gigabit is live

UnFiber® 6G — the newest generation of our tower equipment — is now live in two parts of the network, and the addresses it covers can take UnFiber Gigabit at 1,000 Mbps down and 100 up.

Where it is live today:

• Elmendorf. Most of town sits inside the 6G footprint.
• La Vernia, and the country around it.

Everywhere else on the network runs up to UnFiber 300 (300 Mbps down, 50 up) today, and we will keep upgrading as the work reaches each area.

Nothing else about the service changes. There is still no long-term contract, no data cap and no charge for standard installation — a pole up to 30 feet included if the trees are in the way — and whole-home Wi-Fi comes with every UnFiber plan. Existing customers inside the 6G footprint can call the office on 210-587-7201 to ask about moving up.
