What a business plan comes with
Business Broadband runs at 100 Mbps down and 20 up, and every business plan includes one public static IP address — more on request. That’s what a VPN back to your other location or a camera system you reach from home actually needs, and it’s the main thing a residential connection can’t give you. Business accounts also get priority support: when a business ticket and a home ticket land at the same time, the business goes first.
Fixed link vs. cellular
Our business service is a fixed link. A receiver goes on your building, aimed at a sector on a tower we own and monitor, and one of our technicians installs and aligns it. The equipment at both ends is ours, so when you call about a problem the tech you’re talking to can drive to the tower. Where a building has no clear path to one of our towers, we sell Verizon 5G Business Internet instead — 50/10 for $69.95 a month, or 100 Mbps for $99.95, installed and billed by us.

Do I get a static IP?
Yes — one public static IP address is included with every business plan, and we can add more on request. Residential plans use a dynamic address instead.
Is there a service-level agreement?
Business Broadband is a best-effort plan with priority support. If you need a committed rate backed by an SLA, that’s Dedicated Internet Access, quoted per site.
What happens at the install?
A local tech checks what your building can see from the tower, mounts and aims the receiver, runs the cable and hands you an ethernet connection. Standard installation is free and includes a pole up to 30 feet if the roofline needs one.
How does billing work?
Accounts are billed in advance and invoiced by email before each billing period starts. Every invoice is also in the customer portal at portal.alamobb.com.
