About us

Your neighbors' internet company

Fifteen years in this area: one tower in Elmendorf in 2011, nineteen towers today — still locally owned, still answering our own phone.

Why we started

Everyone should have fast, reliable internet, wherever they happen to live. In 2011 the choices out here were a phone line that crawled, a satellite dish, or nothing at all. So we put up a tower in Elmendorf and sold the connection we wanted for our own houses.

What we’ve built since

Nineteen towers across Bexar, Wilson, Guadalupe and Atascosa counties, carrying UnFiber Internet® to about 1,400 homes and businesses. We add fiber where it makes sense rather than everywhere at once — it’s built in select parts of Sandy Oaks — and UnFiber 6G, our gigabit gear, is live in Elmendorf and around La Vernia.

How we work

The office is on Mathis Road in Elmendorf. A local tech mounts your receiver, so a service call is a drive down the road rather than a ticket in a queue three states away. Installation is free, a pole up to 30 feet included when the trees get in the way, and there’s no long-term contract to sign — if it isn’t for you, you have 30 days to say so.

We pick up during office hours, and the support line is staffed around the clock. That’s the whole promise.
