It runs on the connection you already have
The phone works over the Alamo Broadband service at your address, so there’s no second line coming to the house and no separate phone bill to keep track of. Keep the handset you already own — we bring what’s needed to connect your existing phone when we set the service up — and the line lands on the invoice you already get from us.
Star codes do the rest
The useful features are on the handset, not buried in an app. Dial *72 to forward your calls somewhere else, *73 to stop; *78 for do-not-disturb; *97 to pick up voicemail. Call forward-on-busy, call waiting and call trace all have codes too — the full list is here.

Yes. Give us the number when you order and we port it across — don’t cancel the old service until the port completes.

Do I need internet from you?
Yes — the phone runs over your Alamo Broadband connection, which is what lets it go on the same bill and skip a separate line.
Does it work in a power cut?
It runs over your internet connection, so it needs power at the house. Worth knowing if you’re replacing an old copper line that stayed up when the lights went out.
