How fixed wireless works

The process is simple and relatively painless:

• Call our main number and talk to a customer service specialist, or check your address online for an instant answer.

• If you’re within our coverage area, tell us what level of service you want and we’ll create a work order and schedule an installer visit. Standard installation is free and includes a pole up to 30 feet, so most homes cost nothing to get connected. The installer verifies coverage on site — if tall trees, walls or buildings are in the way and the path needs more height than that, we’ll quote it before we start.

• If you agree, the installer installs, configures and tests the receiver, sets up your Wi-Fi, and shows you how to access your account through the customer portal.

• Once you’re satisfied with the installation, the installer will ask you to sign off, and you’re done.

• You get to enjoy fast, reliable internet access.
