Horizon closed. Your road didn’t.
Horizon Broadband ceased service in August 2026. If you were one of their customers in Wilson or Bexar County, the towers that feed your neighbors are almost certainly close enough to feed you too — so for most former Horizon customers this is a scheduling problem, not a construction problem.
What you get instead
UnFiber Internet® comes off one of our nineteen towers to a small receiver at your house. Plans start at 100 Mbps and run to 300/50 in most places; where UnFiber 6G is live — Elmendorf and around La Vernia — the gigabit plan is available.

What the switch costs
Nothing to start. Standard installation is free, a pole up to 30 feet included when trees or a barn are in the way, and there is no long-term contract to sign. Whole-home Wi-Fi is included, there are no data caps, and if it isn’t what you wanted you have 30 days to change your mind.
What to expect
Put your address into the checker at the top of this page — or start the check with the Horizon tag attached — and the answer comes back from our own coverage map in seconds instead of a sales call. Mention Horizon when we call and we’ll flag the job so it goes onto the installer’s schedule with the rest of the switchovers.
A local tech does the install: mounts and aims the receiver, runs the cable inside, sets up your Wi-Fi and shows you the customer portal. None of it depends on the equipment you already have on the house.
If you’d rather talk it through
Call the office on 210-587-7201, Mon–Fri 9am–6pm, and say you were with Horizon. Outside those hours the support line answers around the clock on 888-758-5986.

Questions
Was my Horizon address already inside your coverage?
Most of them are — Horizon served parts of Wilson and Bexar County that our towers already reach. The checker gives you a definite answer for your exact address in a few seconds, from our own coverage map rather than a guess.
Is there a contract or an installation charge?
Neither. Standard installation is free, including a pole up to 30 feet when trees or a barn are in the way, and there is no long-term contract to sign. You have 30 days to change your mind.
What if the checker says no?
Then we tell you that instead of sending a truck. Leave your details and we’ll come back to you when a tower reaches your road — and if it’s a business address, Verizon 5G Business Internet may be an option today.
